At Daisy Willow, our classrooms are intentionally designed to honor the way young children naturally learn. We follow their curiosity, nurture their sense of wonder, and create beautiful environments where they feel safe, inspired, and deeply known. Every moment, from sensory explorations to open-ended projects, is shaped by respect for childhood and the belief that learning should feel joyful, meaningful, and real.
Children’s ideas, interests, and questions guide the curriculum. They explore, experiment, and revisit concepts at their own pace.
Warm, beautiful spaces with natural light, open-ended materials, and calming design invite curiosity and wonder.
Trusting, loving relationships with caregivers are the foundation of every classroom. Connection comes first.
With small class sizes and warm, consistent teachers, children receive the kind of attentive, responsive care that helps them feel safe and confident. We take the time to build deep relationships so every child feels seen, supported, and celebrated.
Our classrooms are filled with natural light, meaningful materials, and calming colors that invite exploration. Thoughtfully designed environments spark curiosity, nurture creativity, and give children space to learn at their own pace.
Our Reggio-inspired approach honors children as capable thinkers and creators. Through hands-on experiences, open-ended play, and long-term projects, children develop problem-solving skills, emotional awareness, and a lifelong love of learning.
A gentle beginning sets the tone for meaningful learning
Each morning at Daisy Willow begins with connection. Children are greeted with warmth, eye contact, and gentle routines that help them feel safe, grounded, and ready to explore. Teachers take time to build trust, notice emotions, and support smooth transitions from home to school. This first moment of the day lays the foundation for curiosity, confidence, and meaningful learning.
Where ideas turn into investigations
After settling in, children move into open-ended exploration and project work. Teachers thoughtfully prepare materials and invitations that spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and support emerging interests. Whether they’re painting, building, investigating nature treasures, or revisiting long-term projects, children are encouraged to express themselves in the many “languages” of learning. This is where ideas deepen, skills grow, and meaningful learning naturally takes shape.
Nature is one of our greatest teachers.
Outdoor time is an essential part of the Daisy Willow rhythm. Children explore natural materials, engage in big-body play, and discover the changing seasons around them. From gathering leaves to digging, balancing, climbing, and observing the world with fresh eyes, nature offers endless opportunities for learning and joy. These moments outside help children regulate their bodies, build confidence, and develop a deep connection to the world around them.
Our infant program is designed to feel like an extension of home–warm, gentle, and responsive. Babies explore at their own pace through sensory experiences, soft materials, and nurturing routines that support secure attachment. Teachers follow each child’s cues, creating a calm and beautiful environment where even the smallest discoveries matter.
Our preschool program invites children to dive deeper into long-term projects, collaborative play, and meaningful exploration. Investigators work with real materials, document their ideas, and revisit concepts over time, building confidence and problem-solving skills. Teachers support emerging literacy, early math, and social-emotional growth through authentic, hands-on learning that honors each child’s unique way of thinking.
Toddlers learn through movement, curiosity, and joyful repetition. In our toddler rooms, children explore open-ended materials, engage in early project work, and build independence through meaningful routines. Teachers support emerging language, emotional expression, and social connections while celebrating each child’s rapidly growing sense of self.
